Video Project [MGT 315] - Think out of box!

Looking for some fresh ideas for your video project? This tip hopefully could help you.

After you decided on concept of your video and finalized the storyboard. But you still find it is going to be bored and put your audience to sleep, you should try new ideas.

Think about other segments could be included in your video for example; editor's tips, commercial break, formal interview, random interview, demonstration, news, short music clip, silent jokes, memorable still image and skits.

Example

Video project - healthy lifestyle and diabetes could consider having segment on eat healthy food tips or less oil cooking demonstration. Or maybe a 10 quick ways to burn your calories!

Video project - sexual harrasment and street racer could consider on 10 easy ways to self defence while you are alone or tips on safe riding.

Video project - role play (any topic), since your video is continuously without having any segment try to put all elements of emotions; sad, happy, victory, flash back, normal conversation, climate, argument, threat and so on. Make use every angle of your video to shoot/ express the feelings and situation. It is so important for every character to practice their line or facial expression beforehand.

BUT remember don't try too much - never be so ambitious to include all segments in your video. 1 intervening segment is more than enough so choose the best idea you have in group.

Go visit this website to get some ideas on how to shoot better video.
